Winnipeg Male Chorus 50th Anniversary Concert

On Saturday October 30, 2010 the WMC will celebrate 50 glorious years of singing and making music. The Anniversary Concert starting at 7:30 PM will be held at Westminster United Church , corner of Westminster and Maryland.

Three male choirs, the Bison Men’s Chorus, the Pembina Trail Voices Men’s Choir and the Winnipeg Boys Choir will join us. Each choir will sing individually and then join together for a mass choir.

Two newly commissioned pieces specially written for the anniversary will be performed for the first time. The Winnipeg Male Chorus will sing “The Way” written by Marvin Johnson and the mass choir will sing  “ Sunday Squirrel Mandela”  composed by Andrew Balfour.

Tickets of $15.00 for the evening are available at kcdbcjrtp@yahoo.ca or at the door. Additional parking is
available at St. Mary’s Academy on Stafford, 1⁄2 block South of Academy Rd. A free Shuttle will be provided.
